Standing Firm in the Faith Session 10 October 15th, 2025

Just for an EXAMPLE, this is the way that I’ve decreed and placed the Armor of God on myself over the years.

In the name of Jesus,

I stand therefore, having girded my loins with the belt of Truth, because Jesus, You said that You are the Way, the Truth and the Life. I know that Your Word is True and You are true to Your Word. I thank you for the Spirit of Truth that leads me into ALL Truth. (Jn. 14:6; 17:17; 16:13)

And having put on the breastplate of righteousness, because Jesus, You who knew NO sin, became sin on MY behalf that I might become the righteousness of God in You. (2 Cor. 5:21)

And having shod my feet with the shoes of the preparation of the gospel of peace, because You made peace for me through the blood of Your cross, You said “Peace I give to you.” (Col. 1:20; Jn. 20:19)

Above all, I take up the shield of faith, so that I will be able to quench all the flaming missiles of the enemy. Because You said, Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. You said to walk by faith and not by sight. You said that without faith it’s impossible to please You, but that I must believe that You are, and that you’re a rewarder of them that will diligently seek You. (Rom.10:17;

2 Cor. 5:7; Heb. 11:6)

I take up the helmet of salvation, because I’ve been saved by grace through faith, it’s not a result of works lest any man should boast, it’s a gift of God. And because I’ve been born again through a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead! And Father You said that whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world, and who is he that overcomes the world? He that believes that Jesus is the Son of the Living God! (Eph. 2:8-9; 1 Pet. 1:3; 1 John 4:4-5)

And I take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Because the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword. It’s piercing and able to divide between the soul and the Spirit, and the joints and marrow, and is able judge between the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And you’ve made my mouth like a sharp sword and Your Word have I hidden in my heart, that I wouldn’t sin against you. (Heb.4:12; Is.49:2; Ps. 119:11)

And lastly I will pray with all kinds of prayers, in the Spirit, as You give me utterance and understanding of Your Will and Your Word. Because Father I know, that You said that the effectual servant prayer of a righteous man will avail much, and I know that I’m righteous through your Son, and that He’s sitting at Your right Hand, continually making intersession for on my behalf. And I also know that You said that if I would pray anything according to Your will that You would hear me. And if I know that You hear me, then I know that I have those things that I’ve asked of You. (Js. 5:16; Rom. 8:34; 1Jn. 5:14-15)

AMEN
